I read the link and felt it should have been worded differently. They ask if all 2009 cents are valuable and it says “Not Always.” It should instead say “Almost never.”

IMHO searching for silver halves would likely yield much better results.

That was absurd. It hasn't been but a couple of years that I bought a bunch new mint wrapped solid date 2009 rolls at the FUN show for maybe a buck a roll (I don't remember exactly how much, but it wasn't much). It was cheap enough for me to set aside a roll or more of each of the 8 types. There are still coin dealers with cases of mint new solid date rolls to draw from. In general most of those would be considered MS67 or higher.
