BANK 1: $4.00 (no silver)
BANK 2: $116.00 (1- 40%er)
BANK 3: $207.50 (14- 40%ers plus 1- 90%er)*

Yesterday I was rather far out of town which means I was stopping at banks that I have never seen before. Knowing that I won't be back, I bought LOTS of pennies and nickels. But I also bought Half dollars as all 7 banks had halves on hand. The amounts ranged from $2.50 to $27.50. The total was $58.50. The result was TEN silvers (all 40 percent and all from one CWR)

4 banks today - one had a CWR but it was all junk.

3 hammered coins - one of which was a Henry the VIII and considered part of a hoard, 1 milled silver - a 1878 Victoria 6 pence, and a silver heart pendant. Plus a Celtic woad grinder, several roman coins, a roman fibula brooch, a 13th seal matrix (which hasn't been identified yet), and the usual bits and bobs and greenies. A very nice trip (especially since I could leave my work phone at home).

The Henry VIII is technically part of a hoard and has go through the process, which is basically asking museums if they want them. Those items I mentioned above, I should get them back but there is an export process that has to be followed. I use a paid tour that sets up private land permission for the group to go hunt and he does the export stuff. It's a little pricey but well worth it.
