Country...will you be doing a new thread for each month for this tracking as you do for the silver?

Thanks!

Since there are only 10 posters here, I think I'll just continue this thread for now. If we get more posters, we might have to go with a monthly format. :)

Country, I apologize for making more work for you. But I had to edit my post of 09/23/10 as I had miscalculated the dollar amount. The thirty rolls was correct but it should have been $15.00 (Shorted 17 Pennies) NOT $30.00.

I'm so sorry to cause this extra work for you.

1959 - 1981 Cu pennies - 591 (Best was 100% Cu, counting the 1982s X 6 rolls; Worst was 10% Cu X 1 roll)

Cu "S" Mint Mark - none

1982 Cu - 76 (15 in one roll)
1982 Zinc - 6
(1982 Pennies are checked on a digital scale)

2009 - LP1 - 1
2009 - LP2 - 0

Other - 7 -- 2010 Shield Pennies (all P mint mark)

*Please Note: I do not keep track of the kids' birth years (both are zinc years) any longer, although I save them, unless it is some spectacular amount in a roll.

They're pretty, but I don't think there is any premium for the circulated ones we find. I found a few of these myself. :)

What is the significance of the year groups you have listed here?

wellllllllllllll...... not sure that it makes any sense.

1959. just because it is the first year. and only one of that decade
60-67... 61d,63d,64p go to a buyer.
68-74 because of the fact of having 's' mints, which i pull, with 68d, 71pd,72pd going to a buyer.
75-81 d.... since 82;s are seperate
\p .. in its own catagory, because i pull 1980 p for a buyer
82's so that folks with a ryedale can sort them.
wheats obviously
cdn. i break down further..... george, young queen, dove, midlife queen, 80-81--due to weight change, 82-89. 90-96 again due to weight changes.\

That is a lot of pennies!! I love this thread.
