i recently got a 3 cent silver piece with a lot I bought at melt. the year is 1853. the coin is pretty worn, but many details still there.

thanks. Im guessing mine is the lowest grade its pretty worn. It is much smaller then a dime.

You can go "below" the lowest grade fyi. "G4" is actually a decent coin without significant damage, just wear.
If it has a date and isn't bent it's probably at least AG2 or AG3.
