Finally a little silver for my troubles

Finally a little silver for my troubles

So i don't know how many of you have had that one find. That one box, bag or even roll that justifies your efforts. That eureka! For me it's been a very long wait but last week I believe it finally came to me.

Out of the 8 boxes I sorted, I found a total of 5.25% silver (90% & 40%)!

$133.5 - 40%
$55 - 90% Kennedy's mainly Au to even bu!
$12 - Ben Franklins
$9 - walkers including a 1917, and a 1918-S vf maybe better
$0.5 - liberty half (barber?) 1912-S also in vf IMHO
$10 - non-silver proofs

not too bad for a couple months of NIFC finds and proof finds only

It was a nice nights work. And in one night i nearly doubled my total half silver find count. this info is not for the monthly silver tracking, since i haven't posted the many many skunk boxes this news would only skew the data collected so far.

Keep :D and keep on hunting i guess?

Nice going! A few more runs like that and you can start your own bank ;)

The Walker find is especially sweet. With the exception of coin shooting, I haven't found a Walker in the wild for 10 years. :(

Very cool! Congrats on a great find!

There are big finds out there. My best $500 bag had 5 - 90% and 18 - 40%, but I've hit on $100 of 90% in customer wrapped rolls one time this year and $29.50 one day afterwards - same bank. One roll was .50 short.......but I still took it. lol.

I've seen pics of another searchers FULL $500 box of Franklins, Walkers and 64 Kennedy's.......so there is still silver out there for us!
