The dealers are unloading at the US Mint's maximum price (10% over their cost), which has been pulling the prices down. Jack Hunt Coin Broker just sold out a few minutes ago. I expect prices to rise once all the dealers sell their inventory and the free market sets the price.

Anyone get order #3300 from Jack Hunt?

One of the Ebay listing suppliers (mtbcoins) is now also out of the coins. Should see prices go up soon. Then half the coins will be put back on the market by realcent members.

Here is the number 1-800-258-7322 I just called it and got a message saying that they will only be accepting orders via their new website starting second quarter of 2011. Even thought according to that website they will be accepting phone orders starting on Saturday April 2nd. I also read on mintnewsblog that the last time they did this they made people who wanted these also purchase a bunch of 90% US coinage. I wonder how much above spot they were marking up that additional 90%?

Good news they responded to my email asking them for my order # and they said they just processed my order and told me to mail the money order.

I mailed mine priority mail with tracking; the post office wanted $18.95 for next day delivery :-(

good to know, my order number is 1592. i just sent out the money order this morning by regular mail from california. someone called down there and was told that as long as you have an order number your GTG as long as they get the funds within 7 days, my gut feeling is that the 7 days will be extended because of the time it will take them to process 3300 orders.

I decided to buy one set on Ebay for 1350 shipped (plus I also got $20 Ebucks) to keep for my permanent collection. The set I get from the offer posted here, I intend to sit on for a few years. Silver is only going up and with the low mintage on this first series, I am not too put off by the premium I paid for the Ebay set. I was order #2222 on here and it was sold out before I was liquid enough to pull the trigger on another set.

I am only getting a personal set of the 2011's (hopefully in an offer like the one posted on here) Since the mintage in like 100,000 coins vs the 33,000 for the 2010.

Just confirmed my order with CNT. They price point is $1100 and includes $6 face in silver. So basically $38/oz. You can purchase for $950 but then you have to pay sales tax.

I was able to get though on that deal as well. I spent an hour hitting redial. So how is it that they can get away with charging sales tax if you are not within that state? I am still waiting for them to give me the follow up phone call. Did they take CC info or do you have to send in check or money order?

You call them, they take your order and call you back within a half hour. When they call you back, they take your mailing info ,give you the address to send a check or money order. It works out at $6 at 25:1 ,and $38/oz for the coins. Can't beat that!!!

It was a no brainer.. I talked to a very nice lady when they called me back. She took down my information and asked if I had any questions. I asked about the $6.00 face value in 90% and told me that she would have a broker call me back. The broker then called back and he was very pleasant as well. I asked about the 90% and he told me that because they were not set up as a retail business that according to MA law they have to charge sales tax on all transactions below $1000.00. They got permission from the Mint to add some 90% silver to the deal to bring the order above $1000.00 to prevent having to charge everyone sales tax. I asked him if that applied to out of state people as well, and he told me that they do not have the time or man power to fill out all the forms for each transaction to exempt the sales tax. He said that this was just the easiest way around the whole thing, at least you get some silver for the additional money rather than it going as sales tax. I did ask him if the 90% was going to be a random assortment and replied that it will be in the form of 12 90% Half Dollars. It will be easier to just add 12 Half Dollars to each order to save time. I thanked him very much for the great customer service and time and he thanked me as well.

I must say that I can only imagine how busy Apmex's phones would be if they offered 29.34 ounces of silver for $9.95 under spot with shipping included. I can't wait to get my second set!! :D

Funny how no one believed Tourney64 when he first posted these ATB 5 ounce coins could be purchased from Jack Hunt Coins last week for less than $1000 and people were sure it was some sort of scam...then come April Fools Day he played everyone on how he won the lottery and everyone believed him!

I hope you have paid for yours. The email that just got sent out today says that the tracking number was sent out to everyone that has an order confirmed even if the payment had not been received yet. It also stated that if they do not receive the payment then they will cancel the order.
