This time I wasn't so lucky. I sorted 42 CWRs of dimes and found one beat up merc, 1917-S. This was a different bank than my big score reported this morning. Still, better than getting skunked. A slight correction to the earlier post this morning. I found one less overall and one more merc, so my total was 402 with 21 mercs and 381 Roosies.

Well.. good news and bad news. I got a new source bank that will order me half dollars on a regular basis.

1st Box from them. I got that sinking feeling that many experienced half searchers have in the past when I opened the flap and was staring at 50 shiny rolls.. all 2001-D. The good news is that it was an N.F. String & Son Box.. so I didn't have to lift up the top layer to be disappointed by the second half of the box. Guess I will have to double up on the orders so I can chew through all these new boxes and get to the good stuff. Halves are just like pennies.. "If your yields are low.. just sort more!"
