Frustrating CRH today.
Four $500 boxes halves (#2, 3, 4, 5). Generic machine wrapped rolls from B of A. All four skunks.

I had planned to weigh each roll on a coin scale to try to predict which rolls have silver (which are heavier coins). Unfortunately the range was larger than the difference in weight between a copper core half and a 40% silver half. Roll weights ranged from 224.4 g. to 226.4 g. That's a 2.0 gram range. The difference between a copper core half and a 40% silver half is about .16 g. (see below). So I had to open every roll to edge check the coins even though most of the rolls weighed between 225.5 and 226.0. Four boxes took several hours to weigh, log, open, check, rewrap, mark, and return the rolls to the boxes.

A side benefit of weighing each roll is that I know every roll had exactly 20 coins. If there were extra or missing coins that would have shown up quite obviously on the scale, since each clad copper coin weighs about 11.34 grams. Coinflation.com pegs kennedy halves as follows:
1964 - 12.50 g.
1965-1970 - 11.50 g.
1971 & newer - 11.34 g.
