I liked the design of all of them, really. I was not expecting the crappy state the original ones were allowed to be delivered in. The Hot Springs"P" quality was what I expected from any Government mint release... I am not a collector, so I may be nieve on that point, but I prefer this quality...hopefully the Yellowstone coin doesnt make me a liar! :)

I am not going to be having kids, the idea of passing them to a younger generation is a luxury I can't entertain. Mine will probably be stolen by whomever will be changing my diapers 30 years from now. I very much enjoy the COLLECTING phase rather than a completed collection. Having said that, lets talk about ROI. :)

I got mine online in 6 minutes...as stated in the Hot Springs Thread, I am totally ADD. Ever second between 12:00EST and the second I get the confirmation page is like being in purgatory. I would not wish it on a dog. :) Is the phone any less stressful? Are the reps friendly or stressed out too?

It sucks ordering via telephone because I had to call about 20 times before I got through, but the rep was very nice and order went through smoothly.

I think the wait wasnt too bad was because of the huge difference between spot and numi cost.

Really! I had a WTF?? moment when I first heard that. Imagine TSHTF and you are starving trying to buy a loaf of bread and the vendor wants 5 FRN's but will not take that "big fake quarter" LOL

I've seen vids where people try to buy fast food and such using silver and gold coins many times the value of the purchase, but the cashiers will not take it. I don't find these vids funny. I don't blame people for not knowing, but I can imagine a similar scenario wtih the 5oz "quarters" What would someone make of it if they didn't know what it was? I doubt I would take it even at "face value" 5 years ago. I simply was not interested in our debt, money...etc.

I remain a fan of them, I affectionally call them "Silver Hockey Pucks," I've heard others call them, "Silver Coasters" but the denomination still puzzles me. :)

Watching these presales for the Yellowstone 5 oz on Feebay. The Hot Springs were selling like hotcakes. The premium is not there I guess for the "2nd in the ATB series" of big shiny coins.

That suprises me a little, given the popularity of Yellowstone National Park. I bought the Glacier N.P. coin for sentimental reasons. It is the only 2011 I don't consider "bullion." If you know what I mean.

Like anything else, I came to the conclusion long ago about FRN's. Being from middle america when I was growing up you had a very hard time passing a Canadian quarter, now it seems as though unless your running it through a machine they take it and toss it into the respective American FRN slot and call it good.

When the FRN's are no longer trusted a new TRUSTED will take it's place.

I would challenge that it is not always money that is valued in the moment.
