There was an article posted on the old RealCent board about how coins circulate, with the Mint, Fed Reserve branches, and armored service company relationships explained. I think I posted the only comment to that original post, just so I could find it again. But now, of course I can not. I tried the search feature on the still available old site. Does any one remember the article, or where I might find it?.
