While rhodium is a more brittle metal than Ag or Au, Take this with a grain of salt. Kitco has a vested interest in selling their sponges versus someone else's rounds.
Another company to look at is Alfa Aesar, one of my suppliers for research metals and chemicals, they don't offer "branded" rhodium, but I believe their prices are competitive.

I suppose it would be easy enough to tell if it was a full ounce of something, but determining whether or not it was pure rhodium would require access to more sophisticated equipment.

It took a long time and I had to get American Express involved letting him know the charges would be reversed unless the coins were shipped.
So do you want to sell your 1 gram token now? Or do you know of another place to obtain a similar item?
I'll keep the few I have and eventually pass them on to nephews...

Yeah, I got my stuff. I ordered 2 one ounce copper bars from Cohen. Delivery time was about three months. Almost forgot about it. About 12 dollars or so IIRC.
Does Cohen's status make these bars more valuable?

I'm mostly talking about the rhodium, but three months is pretty bad for copper.
