The thing is in great shape and definetely stood out. I googled, and it seem's like 1989 was the yr that some were found. Anybody else run into something like this?

thats what im thinking Chief. What I read is that it might have been in the middle or something and didnt get the copper coating.

This also. I found a super shiny, silver zinc penny, but it was slippery when you grasped it. Through some research via the internet I determined it was a mercury coated zinc. I got rid of it asap. I do not want mercury poisoning. Hope my experience might help.
