Yeeeehaw, wooo hooo, yippee, wahoo, woot! :o :shock: :mrgreen: Ok, so I'm not that happy about the last month in silver... but the silver SORTING just doesn't get a whole lot better than this. Wish I knew how to post pics... tonight, in the first roll of my fifth box searched, along with a shiny 1964... what did I happen to find???

A 1925-S California commemorative half, probably would grade AU58 or better, has full complete details and only a few small scuffs (bag marks?). Numismedia puts this baby at about $175, so yeah... I'm a happy camper! :D :mrgreen:

Nice find, Ray. You don't get to see those at every dealers showcase. It's a rare piece and if commemoratives catch some fire again, that coin would fetch much higher prices than $175.

It's nice when the coin gods give you something that is just as old as you :D

Nice one. Last year I found a number of silver commeratives, zilch this year.
If you are waiting for the "correction" to buy you need to realize that the increasing prices ARE the correction.

WOW.... i love silver commemoratives to. I cant afford the old school ones though. so Ive been collecting the modern silver dollars.... that is a sweet coin.
