I don't know. I did'nt ask them. Every yard in town is at that price. I remember motor prices being at .30-.40 a pound.

I scrapped some steel and #2 copper.
Steel(Tin/Shreddable) was at .065/lb
#2 copper wire was at 2.90/lb

Pretty decent.
I got $33 total.

we took off 3 mid size loads of shredder steel. about #1500 total just under $150.

Made the rent for the month easy. Got 6 AC units to cut up for christmas money this month.
