I would like to propose (again) that all of us in TX get together in Austin or San Antonio for lunch some day when the dadblamed weather cools off a bit.

Houston wouldn't be bad, it's my hometown after all. However, the more observant on this website have noticed that TX is larger, a lot larger, in both size and attitude, than all the other generic states like WV, FL, IL, WV, AR, OK and WV. So I was thinking a more central location like Austin or San Antonio would serve us better.

Either way, I look forward to meeting more RC friends.

Definitely try the doner kebab. It's beef and lamb. Also ask for a "Meze" platter which is a sampling of a bunch of appetizers. If you drop by San Antonio, I'll show you how to eat that stuff.

Thogeys have to visit again. I was stationed in Del-Rio for a while, a paradise, no Ca-Mc mansion, HOA subdivisions. Lake Amistad, BIG stripers. Acuna was fun too, it's probably a war zone by now.
