Highlights.
On August 20, 2004
the copper penny metal value was worth $0.00864
the common nickel metal value was only worth $0.02787
and silver was at $6.85/oz and even zinc was worth less than half of what it is today.

Please share your Favorited coin/metal price sites that the web archive has on file going back even more.

What was a the metal value of a nickel worth 10 years ago?

Thanks for the site. I was trying to get APMEX to load from back when I started but there's some kind of hitch. It was springtime of 2003, and I bought ten ounces of various gold ounces for $322 avg. Welcome to the forum :mrgreen:

Those silver prices sure were nice. I remember back in Aug/Sep 2005 making my first serious plunge into silver, buying all the 90% junk I could find at 5x face. I would tally up the net silver ounces on coinflation.com each day until I finally hit my 1000 Oz target. Wouldn't it be nice to have another buying opportunity like that again?
