What's the Top End Price (Per Oz) of Your Silver Buying?

Postby Know Common Cents » Tue Aug 02, 2011 3:03 pm

At what price per ounce wil you stop buying silver and just hunker down?

Mine would be probably $75 per ounce, but it'd be somewhat discouraging (only on the buying side) to fork over more than $200 for two ASEs and a few Mercury dimes.

On the selling side, NIRVANA.

Right about where we're at now. Most likely it gets crushed if it approaches $50 again.

There is none.

As long as silver looks undervalued relative to other investments, I'm a buyer. If you had asked the same question last year at this time (with Ag at about $18 per ounce) what would the answers have been? $25? $30? $35? Now $35 seems like a bargain. Someday $300 silver might look pretty good.

I'm not trying to be snarky here. I'm just saying that my investment decisions are driven by relative value rather than price targets. To be frank, I'm losing faith in the dollar as a measurement of value. Sadly, I'm not alone.

if i am trading FRN's for silver there is no point. if i'm trading gold its 20 on teh GSR. once GSR goes below 20 i think silver is fairly priced and i prefer gold. there really is no point where i prefer FRNs to silver.

price have no importance at all
if you think it's going to increase versus what you are dealing it for (fiat) buy, else sale

So long as my green exceeds current needs, I'll be buying.

I stopped buying at 30. Except for super-great and below spot deals.

I'm selling my foreign and low purity/quality stuff to pay off debt.

I have more then I can lift now, so on to other preperations.

im hesitant to buy over 40, but thats only because theres been a few times Ive had to liquidate a bit for my other preps at key points.... honestly though I will be a buyer at any point i have free funds and the dollar has yet to fall. ANY silver or gold is a good price under the current paradigm....

we should talk sometime. I can lay out plans for you to grow many types of things much easier then you might assume by better accounting for all present variables.... i know you live in a dry place, so these things are all the more pressing....

I had held off buying much lately, but today I picked up 20 mixed rounds at $1.50 over spot at lunchtime. On the way back to the office I was wishing that I'd bought everything they had. I'll be visiting them again tomorrow.

Our rulers voted today to increase the debt limit by an amount equal 18% of our current outstanding national debt. And they tell us this will keep things running until late next year. Then they tell us that they "cut spending"...... They are WILLFULLY DESTROYING OUR CURRENCY.

I'm voting for ag.

I already have enough silver. At this point I'm paying down bills with worthless fiat (rather than sell silver to do so). Of course... should silver suffer a major reversal I'll likely buy more.
