Rode, I am envious of your carson city coins. In fact, I am envious of all your coins. Your 1879 s...is it a reverse of 1878? If so, thats a $6000 + coin. You familiar with the different reverses?

Tn-dave...I used to buy nothing but raw coins. I began having trouble picking up "cleaned" coins. I am getting better at recognizing a cleaned coin but I still have trouble with that.

I wish, but nope reverse of a 79.

Dan, CC are cool.......but as you know some dates can be very plentiful in ms quality thanks to the GSA issues. I find the later dates (1900+ S and P) are hard to find in MS at a fair price with good eye appeal.

Cool hobby.....keep stack'n!

its a lot of the big boys. I am having a hard time even looking at the 93-s. i remember hearing that in the 60's or 70's there was a morgan that was rarer than the 93-s and then a bunch of BU examples showed up. I think it was an 03 but i am not sure
