Back in the day when I collected glass insulators a few guys bought the farm while climbing live poles. Nobody cared about the copper wire, we were all about the glass. I preferred to do my scrounging at ground level, looking in the underbrush for change outs.

Why is it the news show has to say "allegedy stealing wire"
he broke thru the fance and used wire cutters and cut the wire.
that is not allegedly - he did it and got the electric chair for it. (big smiley here)
