The only magnetic US coinage is the 1943 steel penny. Even US nickles are not magnetic because of the copper mixed in. You need to have a much higher nickel percentage to get it to stick to a magnet. Such as the older Canadian nickles.
Look at the edge of the 1965 dime and you'll see that it is clad. The 64's and older are solid silver on the edge. Weights are different too if you have a gram scale. Look at
