Found a nice ring on my vacation in Colorado last week. Also some ghost town coins including an 1870 Greek coin and a couple of V nickles.

Just hit 6000 coins for the year! Yesterday hit 146 coins for $5.69.....104 were pennies! Most were copper! Got my first wheat penny spill last week...7 wheats...all 40's and 50's...and 1 canadian 1953! NICE....! :D

Wish I could get one or two of the lakes around here drained, I think I would just sh!!!t my pants. :oops: With what I have recovered in the water just going up to my neck it would be a dream to work the next twenty feet out.

Ring #24 Sterling vintage....BEAUTY....this picture does it no justice. The amethyst stone looks so much better in person. The flash took away it's color. There's a merc and a toasty wheat under the ring. Only 6 silver coins this year. 28 wheats!

Here's a shot at a recent marathon hunt with my AT Pro. 253 coins($21.02), that ring and merc, and lots of garbage looking for gold. 137 pennies :D Lots of coppers! :lol: 1 Wheat.

You are kicking A** this year. Congrats on all the finds. One year I hit 10,000 coins. That's a lot of digging!

I'm in England doing some detecting over here. 3 hammered silver so far with lot's of other stuff. Oldest coin so far on this trip is from the 1300's. Wish you all were here to share in the fun! :D

Back from metal detecting trip in England.

Found lots of goodies including hammered silver and a 1855 gold half sovereign. :D My second gold coin ever found.

this past Sunday I went detecting for about 3 hours.

I found:
12 copper cents
4 clad dimes
2 clad quarters

1 Wheat cent
1 war Nickel
2 Merc dimes
1 silver qtr
1 uncle Sam's play half dollar (does that count?) :mrgreen:

went out today for about 4.5 hours.
the first 1.5 were spent in the woods with nothing to show for it, the later 3 hours spent at a park.
I found:
14 qtrs
16 dimes
4 nics
18 cents (14 copper)
1 ring - silver color but no stamp and very light, I think it's aluminum. :x

Been working my 12 hour shifts and moving so not alot of hunting. I quick hunt here and there....not alot to write about...I'm at 7,400 coins, though! :D $430+/27 rings(3 gold)(5 silver)43 wheats. 8 silvers.
