In the more ritzy neighborhoods scrappers and anyone who deals with metal is 'below' them. They figure there must be something wrong with them or shady like. I got this vibe when a guy in a upscale neighbor hood was throwing away a set of aluminum rims because they were 'unclean-able, not worth taking' whatever that means. He really didnt want me taking them, butIi did anyways- it was trash after all.

I mean some bum who scraps metal must be down on his luck to be doing such a thing right? In the end you could be making more off that guy then he would want to believe.

I live in a Small town north of Cottage Grove an we have a Couple who are scrapping in town advertise appliance drop off an have a clean area next to their apartment for this.
They seem to be doing fine but it cuts into my free box work for goodies

Well I recently started scrapping and I got all my teeth.....I guess I'm the exception.
