Double dies???

Double dies???

Was looking through some rolls of wheaties and picked out a few that seemed to be have double dies? Looking for an expert to help me out :D

I am not even close to an expert, but mark me down as a yes vote on this one and we'll see where I stnd when an expert weighs in. Good find!

Its machine/strike doubling. This is worth 3.5 cents. And just for clarification its doubled die

As a wheat...3.5 cents...but to a collector of machine doubling...a bit more. This is a good example....a very clean and sharp shelf-like appearance.

Keep saving them and post 'em on ebay. Somebody will buy them. Lots of collectors out there. I've seen where group lots were doing better than individual coins like this.

Just my 2 cents....and very nice picture! :lol:
