As for me, it's 1 ton and Done. It started on Jan 17, and the challenge was to get there by New Year's Eve. After the seal locks down on pail #40 (27 as of tonight) I'm moving on to something else, so a machine would be of no future use to me.

Not saying I will NEVER look at a box of cents again, but if I do it'll be for numismatic purposes rather than cu.

Where I wouldn't mind a little automation is counting the damn things :evil:

When the melt bans ends, i think you will see them disappear pretty fast. Right now a guy has to have the capital to hold hundred dollars worth of pennies. Once the ban is lifting I'm sure more will start doing this full time, and the CU pennies will be removed a lot quicker
