Oh yea- I also got a 1998 Barbados 1 dollar coin in change today. This is a quarter sized coin. It's noteworthy only in that it's 7-sided and has a big flying fish on it. Neither I nor the cashier noticed...found it in my pocket when I got home!

$100.00 -- 50 BWRs (Brinks Box) -- This is the first time I have gotten a bank box of nickels and it certainly didn't produce for me the way the rest of you get good results from a bank box of nickels.

Kept for nickel album - one -- 1/1938 (probably an AU+ condition) This was an upgrade coin for my nickel album. This coin was found in roll number 1019 of rolls of nickels that I have searched and I searched it on 10/19/10. Another Gee Whiz, That's Cool happening!!!

Two other nickel finds to report. NOT FOUND SEARCHING ROLLS. My mother-in-law got a 2009 nickel back in change from the shopping Mr. PTP did for her at Wal-mart. She had me check her change for any goodies before she put it in her change jar and she let me have it to put in the kids' anniversary coin jar. I also found a 1961 Proof nickel that I had received in change from my recent shopping. This coin was also an upgrade coin for my nickel album.

$380.00 -- 38 CWRs -- These had been marked as searched by someone else. I took a chance anyway.

Found: 3/1985D -- Daughter-in-law's birth year; 1/1977S Proof Half; 1/1987P -- This is the son's birth year and this is the first one I have found searching rolls!!! Only the second one I have found in over two years; the other one being found in $20.00 loose half dollars I got at the coin store for face value to search through back in May, 2010.

Silver found: 1/1966

Three rolls were shorted 50 cents each roll -- I am assuming, and I know what happens when you assume, but I believe that the three rolls that were shorted were originally rolls that the person had found something in and kept the half dollar and didn't bother to replace it. That seems to be happening a lot lately according to the teller at the bank where my husband returned these rolls for me. She questioned whether or not they were correct in coin count. He told her they weren't when we picked them up from one of that bank's branches, but that his wife made up any missing coins so that they were accurate in coin count when we returned them.

I personally know of others that do NOT return their rolls with the correct number of coins and I believe it is causing problems for those of us that do make up the shortages before returning the coins. Hopefully, this will not continue or none of us may be able to search rolls in the future.
