My favorite quote from the first one:
The markets are in a kind of denial. It is almost impossible to contemplate euro-wide default. The cavalry must be about to ride over the hills. Germany surely can’t let Europe disintegrate for want of the will to suffer some inflation? It must come good.

The penny phobia? Just crazy. Who knew? ;)
In the game of Woke, the goal posts can be moved at any moment, the penalties will apply retroactively and claims of fairness will always lose out to the perpetual right to claim offense.... Bret Stephens
The further a society drifts from the truth, the more it will hate those that speak it. George Orwell.
We can ignore reality, but we cannot ignore the consequences of ignoring reality. Ayn Rand.

From the penny-phobia article. Symptoms include:
# Shortness of breath
# Rapid breathing
# Irregular heart beat
# Sweating
# Nausea
# An overall feeling of dread

That is exactly how I feel if I have to deal with the IRS!! So what is that? IRS-iphobia? Tax-phobia?

I, for one, am not ready for the financial meltdown that appears just at the horizon. I wish I was, because if I were really ready, I would say: BRING IT ON! I AM SICK OF ALL THESE GOVERNMENT (READ TAXPAYER) BAILOUTS!!

Let's wipe the slate clean and start over! I would like to buy the Dow for an ounce of gold. Hell yeah! OR, that 640 acre piece of land I have always wanted. Yup.
When I die, I want to go like Grandpa did. He died in his sleep..... Not screaming and hollering like all the passengers in his car.
