Hi there,
Anyone know if there is a duty fee to pay if I order junk silver from the U.S.?
I've read that anything over .995 purity is duty-free, but what about U.S. silver coins? And if there is a tax, is it on the face value, or on the silver content?
Thanks

Have the person put on the little green tag .999 bullion.
If you do get taxed, you can claim it back very easily.
Tax is on the claimed value otherwise, which should be the silver value.
Or get around it completely by buying in Canada -
I sell US and Canadian coin silver at spot delivered.

Sometimes it's not easy to make a company lie... I wanted to buy a bag from Gainesville coins after reading good review here.. I don't think they would cheat...
What do you mean when you say I could claim back the taxes easily?
I sent you an email.
Thanks
