my second thrift store score

well not as good as the $1 ASEs i found before but in the same bin of Mardi Gras medallion style things i found two 25 peso coins from the 1968 mexican olympics both are .720 silver and each contain about a half troy ounce. haha not bad for a buck each.

Thats a nice find. I wish my thrift store had a 'token bin'.

Whats interesting is I didnt here this ASE story- mind telling it again?

I've only ever found two US dimes and one Canadian. One of the US dimes had four notches cut in the edge for some sort of mounting.

the ASEs were several months ago [havent been on here for a while]
basicly the same story i scored a couple for a buck each

as far as them being fakes took them to my coin guy while on break this morning and they're legit.

haha i think a happy dance is in order no? :lol:

2 ASEs and a english commemorative that i was like hmm could be silver turned out not to be but was still worth more than the buck i paid for it
