Odd Silver Marks- 'Maillechort'

Odd Silver Marks- 'Maillechort'

Got some odd silver plated sugar type containers that really look like silver, but upon inspection there seems to be some copper than can be seen inside- so I assuming its plate.

However it does have some deep interestinged marks:
B.B. (which I assume its a maker)
Maillechort (french for some kind of metal?)
10 gr (weight?)

These were pieces until I hacksawed into to them to see what the base metal was :oops: But if its copper I am okay with that.

Any clues?
