So my sister came up from WA today and while we were driving to the mall I was diggin in her small coin holder in her car and she has a 1945 S Silver War Nickel...
Looks like its in great shape..
Sad thing is she could have easily spent it as "5 cents"

Don't even need to feel hopeful about it! I assure you it is 100% (Well, actually 35%) Silver!

That war nickel is not bad at all. You just found an extra $1.92 for her. It has been a long time since I found some silver in my pocket change.

Awesome.
I go through the snack fund at my work and exchange for the copper pennies and I usually take all the nickels. Found 1 war nickel so far. The little things always add to your day.

About a month ago I got a 1964 Washington quarter out of our snack drawer till. At the time it was worth about $7. Cool find for 25¢.
