I tossed a Hail Mary late in the ordering. I called this evening and the automated message was that my order "is still being processed." It doesn't look good.

I thought they weren't supposed to start shipping until the 10th. My status shows a projected ship date of the 23rd. I was deep in the ordering also.

Spoke with the mint this morning. According to her, if you have not received a cancellation or wait list email, you are still on track to receive your order. My order number was 383890xx. This is frustrating because I used a debit card to pay and my daily limit is only $1,000. My bank will raise the limit for me, but they don't want to do it more than 24 hours at a time. Since I don't know when/if the mint will charge, I guess I'll have to call them everyday. I'm sure my bank loves me. :)

eBay is still deleting auctions. I saw one where a guy had a legit picture of his sealed box with 5 sets and the bidding had reached 3400+ and eBay snuffed it out. He even wrote his username on a slip of paper in the picture. If it was a photoshop job, it was one of the best I have seen. All they were requiring was that you have it in hand before listing, correct? What a crock.

a buddy of mine had his pulled down and they told him he had to open the outer box. that holds the 5 sets to sell them on ebay. that is total BS, most people willing to pay $700 or more for a set, will want to try and get a 70 grade to triple their money. wont be able to now

I just received a box of 5 sets. I listed them right away. It took them about 10 minutes to delete the auction. I clearly and obnoxiously explained that I now have these IN HAND. They threatened me with a 15 day suspension this time. They also said that a picture of a box is not good enough, it has to be a unique picture of the item itself. I wrote them a scathing response in an attempt to explain the importance of a sealed box in relation to grading. I am rather pissed off right now. Is there an alternative marketplace that anyone knows of where you can still get a good price for these? The RC marketplace is flooded!

I agree. Ebay is taking this too far now. The whole purpose of them deleting auctions was so people weren't selling things that they might now get. Now they're telling us what we can and can't do with them even though we own them? How is this different than selling an ipad or whatever in a sealed and unopened box?

Yes, ebay is going way to far but keep trying and you might have some luck.

I listed an auction for 5 sets for $3500 and it sold within 5 mins!

Just saw your sale under completed listings before I read your post. Nice going, hopefully you get what you want out of your other listing, that would be some nice cash. I don't have mine in hand yet. Hopefully tomorrow.

Doesn't matter. The average ebayer will just see the 100% and not look that all you do is buy.

A buddy of mine received the dreaded wait list email Tuesday night at about 11. Checked and I didn't get one yet. Status still shows the same but ship date has slipped to the 24th.

Mine still says "In stock and reserved" and the funny thing is that my account had a hold on it for 2 days. Now the hold is gone and nothing... I know people with higher order numbers that have theirs in hand.... I'm getting a bad feeling about this... I'm calling when they open today..

I'm also In Stock and Reserved still. The charge is still a pending charge on my cc statement, since 11/8.

I called the mint this morning since the holds on my account went away and they still haven't shipped. She said yes, you are one of the lucky ones.. Nothing is wrong it is in the warehouse to be pulled... Guess I just have to wait a little while longer
