I have a few dozen milling teeth (maybe 20-25 pounds) that came off of an asphalt miller. I know the tips of them are carbide but I don't know how far the carbide goes down into the tooth. Anyway, does anyone know if a yard would take them as is, or would they expect me to seperate the carbide portion from the steel portion (which wouldn't really be worth my time). I plan on taking them either way, I just was curious if anyone else has messed with these before. Thanks in advance for any input.

Dr. Cadmium, anybody? Has anybody had any experience in unclean carbide? I hate to scrap a piece of steel with a carbide tip at steel price. What are my options on these? Thanks to those who have responded to my post about these. I have a small amount of these, but could get a lot more if they are worth keeping.
