1970 Bermuda 50c is Copper-Nickel. However, the $1 coin from 1970 is .800 FINE SILVER.

40% SILVER halves weigh 11.50 grams. Clad halves weigh 11.34 grams.

For now, I'll count it as a 40% SILVER proof. Check the weight and determine what it is for sure.
