100.00 BWR nickels = 1 1943-S war nickel, but for the first time, I found "marked" nickels in almost every roll! I've encountered marked halves, but never marked nickels. It averaged about 2 nickels per roll with an "x" on the reverse in black marker. But you gotta open every roll just to be sure! I'm grateful to find the one war nickel!

This bag had the same tag in it that I have gotten before that was short. I suspect some silver searcher out there is pulling the silver out of boxes and bagging whats left over, not replacing the silver with clad. I wish I could track this SOB down.
