Half boxes usually are $500. I like dimes because they are consistent (1.5-2 per $250 box). Seems like silver dimes are often overlooked by the general public. I like halves because you can strike it big with a nice box, but halves are usually hit and miss. Quarters are tough, but my last two boxes (pickup bank didn't have my other box of halves, each time) have both produced one each. I say get some dimes and some halves. That way you should be able to find at least a little. If you are persistent in searching, week after week, you will soon have a small stash of silver pulled from circulation at face value. Good luck!

like doing dimes also (usually get at least 1) but also like halves also because like chief said you can hit a silver vein every now and then!
