I don't know if the above is true, but here is how I see it playing out ...
Everyone waits 'til the end to see the numbers, making the mintage seem low until the last day, and then a frenzy could commence. Then how many orders get canceled when the shysters see the total is higher than expected? If there is a last-minute rush, what's to stop the Mint from extending the time period for ordering "due to the great demand?"
Of course, I could be completely wrong. Maybe these things will make the 25th Aniv. set look like chicken feed. Who knows?
Like I said, I won't be playing, but I have a feeling this is gonna be very entertaining to watch from the sidelines.
