Any Interest in Graded (slabbed) Coins???

Postby johnbrickner » Mon Nov 29, 2010 12:00 pm

Good Members:

I have a number of slabbed coins including pennies, nickles, dimes (rosies, mercs,) quarters (washingtons,) halves (franklins, walkers, and an Ike) dollars (3 morgans, 3 peace) a couple of SAEs and a couple of 1/4 oz gold eagles. They are all graded by PCGS, NGC, ANACS or ICG from MS63 to MS70. I also have a couple of Proof SAEs.

I thought now would be a good time to sell them to help pay for a septic system that . . . well, lets just say I have a strong dislike for a local Board of Health that certified it and certain contractor who installed it.

Given the great advice I've gleened here and all around fine people who administrate and make this Forum what it is, I thought if there were enough interest I'd list more details then determine weather to sell direct or on the Buy It/Auction Board. In any case, I'd like to give you all first crack at them. If not, I'll then go where I can get the best return.

Thanx in advance and I appreciate you taking the time to read this.

Wow you and eddy are fast!

@ MS66 PCGS: 2X '40 RD; '54-S RD; '56-D RD; 2X '58 RD; '58-D; '60 RD. NGC: '58-D RD, '59 RD; '60 Lg Date RD; '61-D; '68-D RD. I was just starting to put together a set then it seems like the prices jacked, so I stopped. In fact, that's my entire lot of pennies.

Thanx for asking.

I am interested in what you have in PCGS slabs...

Please put a list of the PCGS coins: face value, year, mint, grade.

If the price is right, I'll probably take them all.

Thanks!

Good Members:

I have already posted the pennies for Neckro so here are the rest by denomination. I think this is the completed list. I'm glad you all had enough interest to make me go through them all. It was just enough to give me seller's remourse on a few of them. I'll leave this up for a week or so to make sure everyone who may have an interest has a chance to get a look at it. Please consider this a draft so I can discover any mistakes. I'll see if I can figure out how to pictures up.

A quick THANK YOU ALL for all the PMs showing real interest. I have yet to research the prices, shipping and will do so soon. Please be patient as I am fully into the Winter sports season. Basketball scrimmages start this Thursday afternoon and my kids have an opening night performance this Friday evening and go through Sunday. I will look at each PM and get back to you individually in the order received. Most likely starting early to middle-next week.

I greatly appreciate it.

Apologies in advance. My 'puter took a dump and my only access is now the local library with a 30 min limit/day. It may take me a couple of days more to get back to you all.

If anyone knows anything about computers, when I try to restart it in "SAFE" mode I get:

"??ountable_boot_volume" (my screen isn't wide enough to get the entire wording here) with the following technical info;
0X000000ED (0X8A3507B0, 0XC0000185, 0x00000000, 0X00000000) also got restarting in last good working mode;
0X000000ED (oX8A6024A0, . . . ) with the rest the same. It's always something!
