$230 CWR halves - skunk (I knew they would all be the second I cracked the first roll open, saw the SAME permanent marker "mark" on the neck of Kennedy that I've seen in my last 6 NF String boxes, so I'm positive these were someone's dump)



$70 CWR dimes - 1 '64 (and it is probably THE ugliest I've run across, but hey it's face value silver still )

It must be a Southern thing, since I'm just outside of Macon. My source bank says they order their boxes from Atlanta.

Got back into hunting after a several-month hiatus and bought a $250 Brinks box of dimes and found:

1--1944 Mercury Dime
1--1946 Rosie
2--1953 Rosies
1--1964 Rosie

As well as a 2008 Canadian dime...

Also the first week of December, I found a 1955 S Roosevelt Dime in the cash register at my folks' business.

Well it seems like this month has just been a battle for me. It started off horrible but things are starting to look up. Still have 80 boxes to go this month so we'll see how it all ends up. Here is some more of my searches this month. I go through too many boxes to even mess with NIFC coins. I do pull a lot of proofs but unless its a silver proof I don't post them either. Too much work. I believe for this post it works out to 59 boxes and breaks down as follows:

Box 3- the teller had looked throught the holes on the bottom of the box and saw a walking liberty. I opened the box in the banks so we could all find out what it was 1941 S. Box also included 2 1964 and 10-40%

When you get coins via the Teller tray, do you buy all the coins or does the teller let you pick and choose?

Picked up a $270 bag of halves from a closed bank branch at the banks main office vault. This bag must have been forgotton about, as every time I've gone to this branch they said we have no halves.
