Silver Santa and Silver bullets

Stopped by the local country store to get a few adult beverages for the football game tonight and the guy that owns it tells me he has something for me. (he saves all the halves, dollars and anything else unusual for me) I asked him what he had and he said a lady brought these in the other day and I figured you would probably want them (by this time it was killing me because he still hadn't showed me what they were yet) He reached in the cash register and pulled out 3 shiny ASE's. I asked him what he wanted for them and he said "give me 5 bucks". I told him they were worth more then that and he said "I told you give me 5 bucks for them" so I did. Come out of the store with a 12 pack of Coors Light (The Silver Bullet) and 3 ASE's a 2001 (little tarnishing around the rim) a 2005 and 2006 in perfect shape! Silver Santa came a few days late but made it! Not bad for a snowy day in Eastern NC.

Standard American brews are a bit watery and vapid for my tastes. I like Michelob but it's hard to find these days (at least over here). Old Milwaukee is always worth a go and cheap too.

Personally, if I am gonna drink US beers it'll be the smaller brewers, more artisanal stuff like Anchor Steam, Liberty, Sam Adams and Brooklyn. More flavour so they are less chuggable and ergo you don't inhale a twelve pack in 3 hours like it is so easy to do with Bud.

You guys get access to many Euro brews there like Kronenbourg 1664?

I friend got a ASE from her friend who works at a cafe- Some guy used it to buy a cup of coffee! Its hard to believe theres people that clueless out there...

A good friend is a bank teller, and bought one for a buck. She told the customer that she could only give what the coin said on it, but that it was probably worth more than that. They still agreed to it!. So she bought it back from the bank and took it home. It was actually quite worn, which is rather odd. She showed me and I sold it for her... at this point I would like to have it back...
