Standard American brews are a bit watery and vapid for my tastes. I like Michelob but it's hard to find these days (at least over here). Old Milwaukee is always worth a go and cheap too.
Personally, if I am gonna drink US beers it'll be the smaller brewers, more artisanal stuff like Anchor Steam, Liberty, Sam Adams and Brooklyn. More flavour so they are less chuggable and ergo you don't inhale a twelve pack in 3 hours like it is so easy to do with Bud.
You guys get access to many Euro brews there like Kronenbourg 1664?
