Well, I have been collecting 1931 coins by date for longer than anything else. That's my Granny's birth year, and collecting coins with her was the start of the whole birth year collections idea (see here
viewtopic.php?f=30&t=13865).
My Grandpa has collected coins on and off since the 40's or 50's, and she always went along with him to the shows, and even collected silver ounce bars in years past, when it was neat to see how many different designs she could find each time. Wish she still had all those!
Anyway, she has the binder with all the 31's in it. I think that's all the coins she has any more, and it's been fun when every once in a while, I come across one I haven't gotten her yet, and get to take it over to their house. I actually got her a 1931 British Sovereign a few months ago, and she about fainted. It's the only gold coin in the whole collection. I told her there was only one rule... when she didn't want them any more, she gave them to me...
So, having said all that, here are a few of my 1931 coins, from the CANADA binder!
