Footnotes:
- Country has not issued circulating coins, but has issued some cheap NCLT.
- Country used to issue circulating coins sometime in the 20th century but no longer does so.
- The Netherlands Antilles federation was officially disbanded in 2010. Coinage of the Netherlands Antilles still circulates in two of the former member-states and will continue to do so until those states (Curacao and Sint Maarten) issue a replacement currency union currency, sometime later this year (2013).
- Country has never issued any official legal tender coinage. Any and all "coins" issued in their name are unofficial fantasies.
- Although an "unrecognized" country, coinage in their name actually circulates (or circulated) on the ground.
