Treetop wrote:Percentage wise... look it up. Im on dial up at the moment, it took me 30 seconds just to load this page. We arent killing dissidents of course, (yet) but we lock up lots of non violent folks at alarming rates.
even disregarding that it is pretty clear to see the police state forming... Honestly I discussed it so much elsewhere I dont feel like laying it all out. the mechanism for such is indeed being put in place though.... If it didnt go slowly and if they actually used these powers as they can as they made them law it simply wouldnt work. Little doubt they are waiting for a catylist. Im assuming it will be the issues stemming from a degrading dollar, or loss of jobs over the years which through globalism is likely to continue if individuals themselves dont force new paradigms....

Percentage, rated as per capita. I think it's for "behind bars only" as other countries might not have our parole system.

okay then, but what you might term "paranoia", others might call the repetition of history. you say tomato, i say toemahto, and we'll split the difference.
barrytrot wrote:Wow, I did not realize that was the case. 1 in 32 people are tied to the court. That's quite high.
Hm, that does sound like it is building toward a police state.
So what do you recommend we do?
